Who we are

Colorado Bible Church is an independent, non-denominational church based in Colorado. This policy explains how we handle information collected through our website and digital tools.

What we collect

Information you give us directly. When you email us or send us a message, we collect what you choose to share: your name, email, and the content of your message.

Donations. When you give online, your payment information is handled by our giving platform (Planning Center Giving) and our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your credit card details ourselves. We retain the donation amount, date, and your name for tax-receipt purposes.

Website usage. Our website (hosted by Netlify) collects standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

How we use it

We use the information you share only to respond to your message, process and acknowledge your gift, send you tax receipts, and communicate about the life of the church if you have asked to hear from us. We do not sell, rent, or share donor information with any third party for marketing or any other purpose.

Who we share it with

The only third parties that handle your information are the tools required to run a church website and giving system:

• Planning Center — our church management and giving platform
• Stripe — our payment processor for online giving
• Netlify — our website host

Each operates under its own privacy policy.

Donor confidentiality

As a church, we treat individual giving as confidential. Records of who has given and how much are kept only by those with a need to know, per our Financial Controls Policy.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the information we have about you, request that it be corrected, or request that we delete it. Email us at cobiblechurch@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted here with the effective date above.
